Ajay Devgn, born as Vishal Veeru Devgan, is a acclaimed Indian film star, director, and film producer mainly active in Hindi cinema. Known as one of Bollywood's leading actors, he has featured in over a hundred movies and received several honors, including four National Film Awards and 4 Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri, India's prestigious civilian award. Devgn made his acting debut with the romantic-action film *Phool Aur Kaante* (1991), a commercial success that made him an overnight star.
